3. The Acrylic 🔮

As mentioned previously, there are two methods of creating the mirrors for the faces, Two-way mirrored acrylic sheet, or clear acrylic with one-way mirrored film.

If you have bought the frame or STLs only Clear acrylic + film is the least expensive option, however is much more difficult to accomplish. Overall the more expensive option produces a clearer finish and saves time, if you’re on a budget I would recommend the film option. But for the better results I would recommend the acrylic mirror sheet.

The mirror sheets are press fit into the sides of the dodecahedron. Providing they're cut with the dimensions previously mentioned.

Square Base:

X: 164.80mm

Y: 164.80mm

Z: 3mm

Triangle Side:

X: 165.70mm

Y: 168.20mm

Z: 3mm

If you have purchased the kit, your parts will fit fine. However if you are building from the frame or STL only kit, I would recommend asking for test cuts with those dimensions. As we cannot account for suppliers tolerances in manufacturing.
